Mostly houses, which rent for $600 to $7,500 a week, and condo units, which go for $400 to $3,400; there's a handful of motels (none are oceanfront) with rates ranging from $97 to $125 per night. Three-night weekend minimum.

Bargains

For short stays, motels are a good value.
