PROBLEM: Rooms in hotels and on ships often don't have enough electrical outlets, or they're in inconvenient, spine-wrenching locations.
SOLUTION: "Take along an electrical multi-outlet plug-in strip," says Priscilla Hopkins of Fairfax. "It not only saves your back from having to move the dresser every time you want to use an appliance, but saves your marriage when you are both getting ready." Hmmm . . . a two-pronged benefit. If you're traveling abroad, don't forget to pack an electrical converter kit.
