Tip 80: Bag Your Coat

"When you put your coat into a plane's overhead baggage compartment, chances are some other passenger will put his dirty bag, with even dirtier wheels, on top of it," observes tipster Agnes Brown of McLean. "My tip: carry a trash bag in the pocket of your coat, and then put your coat into the bag before you put it overhead. People may give you funny looks, but your coat will be cleaner than theirs."
