Feb. 26, 1993: World Trade Center tower parking garage is bombed, killing six people. The convicted organizer of the crime had spent time at bin Laden's guest house in Pakistan, according to investigators.
June 25, 1996: A U.S. military housing complex in Saudi Arabia is bombed, killing 19 and wounding 372. U.S. officials suspected bin Laden but could not pursue leads when Saudi police refused to cooperate.
Aug. 7, 1998: U.S. embassies in Kenya and Tanzania are bombed, killing 224 people and injuring more than 5,000. One of the suspects arrested confessed that he had been part of a team recruited by bin Laden.
Oct. 12, 2000: Suicide bombers attack the USS Cole in Yemen. Seventeen sailors die; 39 are injured. A Kuwaiti newspaper later obtained a video, taped in a bin Laden training camp, which boasted of the attack.
