Police Recruits Targeted

Monday's bomb attack against Iraqis applying for government jobs in Hilla was among the deadliest since the start of the Iraq war. Insurgents have targeted Iraqi policemen and recruits frequently, and more than 2,000 police officers were killed in 2004.
