Iran's nuclear program: Selected telexes to suppliers

A secretive research institute working for Iran's military sent a series of telexes as part of attempts to acquire material for their nuclear program. Below are selected messages from the sampling sent to The Washington Post, part of 1,600 formerly secret documents obtained by researchers investigating the history of Iran's nuclear program. The telexes and other records show Iranians using subterfuge and deception to obtain the parts they needed, and afterward issuing vigorous denials to U.N. nuclear officials, even when confronted with evidence.
