Satellite View of Cyclone Damage
Click the buttons to see satellite images of Burma's Irrawaddy Delta from before and after Cyclone Nargis hit on May 3. Rivers and lakes are visible in the April 15 image; the May 5 photo shows floods that spread across the entire coastal plain after the storm came ashore. The images are from the Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer on NASA's Terra satellite.
