Gamers get mobile bragging rights

Microsoft recently released its first official Xbox Live app for iOS, offering users the same clean interface as the new console layout. The app, which requires you to log into your Xbox Live account, lets users look at their achievements and messages as well as offering access to the network’s new feature to invite friends to play games with you. It also pushes some of the service’s latest news and videos straight to your mobile device. While the mobile app obviously doesn’t have the novel charm of Kinect motion or voice control, it’s still a good way to keep your head in the game while you’re out and about. Free, for iOS.
