DEVELOPING
A gunman opened fire early Thursday at Saugus High School in Santa Clarita, law enforcement authorities said. Los Angeles County authorities said the suspect in the shooting is in custody and being treated at a hospital.
The new company — which will own more than 250 daily newspapers including the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and the Indianapolis Star — will be under pressure to find $300 million in annual savings within the first two years of the deal.
