Young speakers wearing “We Call B.S.” T-shirts condemned their elders for failing to prevent the mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, which killed 17 students and faculty on Feb. 14. Gun-safety advocates hope the new activism can create momentum across the country to enact firearms restrictions. But the students are also attracting political attacks from advocates for gun rights. Established groups, however, are aware of how quickly such a moment can fade.
