Schiff grills ex-envoy over inconsistencies in testimony

In response to questioning, both Tim Morrison and Kurt Volker said they believe it’s inappropriate for a U.S. president to ask a foreign country to investigate an American citizen. The exchange marked the clearest instance of the officials denouncing such a move.
