O’Malley announces Maryland redistricting committee

The five-member advisory group will immediately develop a schedule of public hearings so that citizens can participate in the process, the governor says.

O'Malley administration opposes medical marijuana bill

Maryland would join 15 states and the District of Columbia in allowing marijuana use for medical purposes The health department's analysis also found that it would cost several million dollars and at least several years to set up a state program, and suggested launching a study to come up with an alternative.

McDonnell to attend O'Malley's inauguration
