Mind-boggling views of beastly ocean storm offshore eastern New England, Canada

Call it a beast, a monster, a bomb, or a behemoth. The storm offshore eastern New England and slamming the Canadian Maritimes is all of those things.

Rain totals mount as relentless coastal storm is stuck

One to five inches of rain (with isolated higher amounts) has fallen across the region since Wednesday, with most locations in the two to four inch range.

Coastal flooding ongoing in southeast Virginia, likely for Md., Del. beaches
