Montgomery votes for Wheaton revitalization

A new headquarters for the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission in downtown Wheaton would be part of a broader effort to jump-start the revitalization of a diverse community that has long sought an economic boost.

New York Avenue to close Saturday so building can be moved

If you see a building moving across New York Avenue NW Saturday, it is not a mirage. The District Department of Transportation says the avenue will be closed from Sixth to Seventh streets from 5 a.m. to noon as a “historic building” is moved.

Saul to develop near Wheaton Metro

A development team led by the company B.F. Saul will spearhead mixed-use development around the Wheaton Metro station, Montgomery County and WMATA announced today.
