Jim Schwartz vs. Jim Harbaugh scuffle a bad sign for Detroit Lions

If Jim Schwartz didn’t like Jim Harbaugh’s celebration after the 49ers knocked off his Detroit Lions, maybe his team should have won the game.

The best Michael Vick move of all-time

QB’s decision to call out the league for not protecting one of its marquee players is a brilliant strategy.

Redskins to target Tony Romo’s bruised, battered quarterback ribs

Calm in the East, hostile in the West

Free agent hitchhiking with Kyle Orton, Reggie Bush, Sidney Rice and Nnamdi Asomugha

Once the lockout ended. I hit the road. I decided to hitchhike the country. Don’t ask me why, I don’t even know why. Ironically, I was picked up by some interesting NFL characters along the way.

Hey rookies: Get your money, but earn it first

When it comes to a new collective bargaining agreement, one thing both sides can agree on is that a rookie wage scale needs to be established. Both agree that rookie contracts have gotten out of control, and they’re right.

Slow down, the kid can play

Drafting a quarterback is an inexact science, but performance on the field should carry more weight than poor decisions off it. There’s no reason Terrelle Pryor can’t become a productive NFL quarterback and some team should be willing to take a chance on him.

Sorry, Jay, we don’t care anymore

Jay Cutler has emerged from the depths of silence to speak. Excited? You shouldn’t be.
