Loudoun Summer Music Fest shuts down for 2011

By Tom Jackman, Sure, it’s just a big flat pasture along Route 7, but the Loudoun Summer Music Fest was a great place to see a concert, and they are not going to do it this year. The show we saw last summer, the “Dukes of September, ” featuring Michael McDonald, Donald Fagen and Boz Scaggs, with Steely Dan’s band backing them up, playing great soul tunes, was phenomenal. Here’s the story.  |  08:37 PM ET, 04/03/2011 |  Permalink  |  Comments ( 0)
