Democrat Patty Murray has beaten Chris Vance, a Republican, in the race for the Washington Senate seat currently held by Murray.

Democrat Jay Inslee has beaten Bill Bryant, a Republican, in the race to be governor of Washington.

All of Washington's House seats have been decided. Republicans have held four seats, while Democrats have held six. Every House seat is up for election every two years.

Washington voted for Hillary Clinton, the Democratic former secretary of state, in Tuesday’s presidential election.
