Kylie Jordan

Madeira / Sr.

Also an All-Met selection as a sophomore and junior, Jordan finishes her high school career as the Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association’s fastest ever in the girls’ 100 butterfly and 100 and 200 freestyle as well the Independent School League’s top swimmer in the 100 butterfly and 200 individual medley. During her senior season she also lowered her own Metros record in the 100 fly (53.04 seconds) — the area’s top time — and led Madeira to the ISL championship. In four years, the Duke commit never lost an individual race at Metros or VISAAs.

Finished as Va. 6A state runner-up in 100 breaststroke (1 minute 1.83 seconds) and 200 IM (2:02.24), both in automatic all-American times.

Hannah Lindsey

Churchill / Sr.

Two-time Metros and three-time Md. state champion in the 100 back, finished with the area’s top time in the event (55.08). Will swim for Wisconsin.

Megan Byrnes

Oakton / Sr.

Four-time All-Met swept conference, region and state titles in the 200 free and 500 free, helping the Cougars to a runner-up finish at Va. 6A states. Will swim for Stanford.

Coach of the Year Brendan Lees

Sherwood

Led the Warriors to titles at Metros and the Maryland 4A/3A state championships, claiming the school’s first crowns in either competition while knocking off defending champion Churchill. His squad also repeated as Montgomery County Division II champions and set records at the Maryland state meet in the 200 medley and 400 free relays.

Two-time All-Met won Va. 6A state championship in 100 breaststroke with an area-best time of 1:01.51.

Hannah Baker

Two-time All-Met led the Rams to titles at Va. 6A state and North region championship meets with winning swims in the 50 and 100 free.

Morgan Hill

Sherwood / Sr.

Three-time All-Met posted area-bests in the 50 (22.95) and 100 free (49.07), leading Warriors to a sweep of Metros and Maryland state titles. Will swim for Virginia.

Suzanne Dolan

Yorktown / Sr.

Won 50 free at Va. 6A North region meet in area’s second fastest time (23.19). Finished with automatic all-American times in 50 free and 100 breast.

Cassidy Bayer

West Potomac / So.

Two-time All-Met repeated as Va. 6A state champ in 100 fly and 200 IM, while adding 200 free region title. Posted area's fastest IM time (1:59.59).

Jasmine Hellmer

Flint Hill / So.

Finished top four in the area in three events events, including in automatic all-American times in the 100 fly and 200 IM.

Madeline Kline

Damascus / Sr.

Won the Metros diving championship with an area-best score of 488 points -- a Montgomery County record.
