Three-time Conference 13 Player of the Year scored 34 goals and recorded seven assists despite close attention from opponents. A lethal scorer with the ability to create her own openings, the Boston University commit led the Raiders to the program's first league title in 40 years, scoring three goals in the win over Marshall. Scored the overtime winner against Stone Bridge to push the team into the Virginia 5A North region semifinals.

Coach of the Year Devon Dowell


A 2007 graduate of Madison, Dowell took the head job at her alma mater before last season after serving as an assistant for three years. Guided the Warhawks to undefeated marks against Conference 6 opponents in both seasons and to the school's first Virginia 6A North region title this season.

F Allyson Brown

Loudoun County / Sr.

Two-time All-Met and two-time Conference 21B player of the year scored 24 goals and had 17 assists as the Raiders captured the conference regular season and tournament titles. Will play at Virginia Tech.

Conference 7 Player of the Year scored 12 goals and added nine assists to help the Bruins reach the conference final and Virginia 6A North region semifinals.

F Amanda Nhek

Patriot / Sr.

Finished career with 104 career goals, including 37 as a senior. Scored six goals in an 8-0 win over Stonewall Jackson. Will play at George Mason.

Creative finisher around the goal with a powerful left foot. Scored 11 goals and added four assists.

MF Julia Leas

Madison / So.

Game-changer verbally committed to Georgetown. Scored in Virginia 6A North region championship win over Yorktown, pushing season total to 17 goals. Also has 10 assists.

Broad Run / Sr.

Conference 14 Player of the Year controlled the offense for the Spartans, scoring eight goals and leading team to league championship.

F Claire Constant

T.C. Williams / Jr.

Dynamic scorer who played in the back when needed. A verbal commit to Virginia, Constant is not afraid to take shots from long distance and finished with 16 goals.

D Faith Stynchula

W.T. Woodson / Jr.

Plays in the middle, covers ground and executes set pieces. Keyed the Cavaliers to 10 shutouts as a sublime one-on-one defender.

MF Kayla Hamric

Dynamic two-way midfielder finished with 16 goals and seven assists. Had six multiple-goal games while organizing the attack. Will play at George Mason.

D Shannon Lee

Battlefield / Sr.

Two-year captain, four-year starter and three-time All-Met. Was quarterback of back line that recorded 14 shutout victories. Will play at George Mason.
