Local election officials are bracing for possible legal filings challenging the tabulation of mail-in and absentee ballots, which have arrived in record-shattering numbers ahead of Election Day. 
David Correia, 45, was arrested a year ago with Lev Parnas and two others in connection with an alleged foreign donor scheme.
The ruling, which said ballots received after the polls close cannot be accepted, upended officials’ plan to count absentee ballots received up to seven days after the election so long as they were postmarked on Election Day.
