The House minority leader threw his support behind Rep. Elise Stefanik for the party’s third-ranking post, signaling that allegiance to former President Donald Trump is a requirement for power in the Republican Party.
Local police said the gunman “drove to the residence, walked inside and began shooting people at the party before taking his own life.”
