Lake Braddock opened the game with an 85-yard interception return by Dylan O'Brien, bringing the score to 7-0.
In the second quarter, the Bruins added to their lead on Jordan Cobb's 23-yard touchdown reception from quarterback Jack Darcy. Lake Braddock went even further ahead following Matt Hibner's 31-yard touchdown reception.
Both teams went scoreless in the third quarter.
Ahead 23-0 at the start of the fourth quarter, Lake Braddock extended its lead on Ben Dizon's 12-yard touchdown run. The Bruins scored again on Joe Murray's three-yard touchdown run. Yorktown scored the game's final points on a 11-yard touchdown reception by Tanner Wall from quarterback William Porter.
Lake Braddock's top rusher was Dizon, who had 18 carries for 128 yards and one touchdown. Cobb led Lake Braddock with 91 receiving yards and one touchdown on eight catches.
Yorktown's top passer was Porter, who completed 8 of 18 passes for 74 yards, one touchdown and one interception. Adrian Alvarez led the Patriots with 23 rushing yards on 11 carries. Yorktown's top receiver was Wall, who had nine catches for 104 yards and one touchdown.
Lake Braddock (1-3, 0-0) will host Oakton High School (1-3, 0-0) on Sept. 28. Yorktown (3-1, 0-0) will host Chantilly High School (0-5, 0-0) on Sept. 28.
