Behind 38-21 at the start of the fourth quarter, Lee cut into Marshall's lead with a 32-yard touchdown reception to Kaleb Samuel. The Statesmen added to their lead on Margiotta's 20-yard touchdown run. The Statesmen went even further ahead following Margiotta's 26-yard touchdown run. Brandon Gonzales-Pinto increased Marshall's lead with a 10-yard touchdown run. Lee scored the game's final points on a three-yard touchdown run by Menefee.
Marshall's top rusher was Margiotta, who had 18 carries for 261 yards and six touchdowns.
Marshall (7-1, 3-0) will host Edison High School (3-4, 2-2) on Oct. 27. Lee (3-5, 3-1) will host Edison High School (3-4, 2-2) on Nov. 3.
