The Washington Post to host designer Derek Lam in conversation with Robin Givhan

On Wednesday, June 13, The Washington Post will host American fashion designer Derek Lam in conversation with Post Pulitzer Prize-winning fashion critic Robin Givhan. The two will examine the expanding role of social media and celebrities in the fashion industry. Lam, winner of the CFDA Perry Ellis Swarovski award for new designers, will also discuss the entrepreneurial philosophy that has shaped his career and his focus on growing his brand internationally in the European markets.
