Robert O’Harrow Jr. moves to Rapid Response Team

July 10, 2018 at 2:51 PM

Announcement from Investigative Editor Jeff Leen, Deputy Investigative Editor David Fallis, and Rapid Response Editor Eric Rich:

We are pleased to announce that veteran investigative reporter Robert O’Harrow Jr. will be joining the Rapid Response Team. Bob has had a stellar career at The Post, on the Local, Financial and Investigative staffs. He has twice been a Pulitzer Prize finalist: in beat reporting in 2000 for his coverage of privacy and in explanatory reporting with Brady Dennis in 2009 for an examination of AIG. He was part of the team that won for investigative reporting this year for its coverage of Roy Moore. He also has won a Sigma Delta Chi award for non-deadline reporting for “Zero Day,” his examination of cyber threats, and has been a four-time finalist for the Gerald Loeb awards for business reporting. On loan recently to the Rapid Response Team, Bob has produced a string of stories examining political appointees in the Trump administration, including exclusives about a 24-year-old former campaign worker who held a top job in the White House drug-policy office.

Please congratulate Bob on his new assignment.
