Announcement from Multiplatform Editing Chief Jesse Lewis and Deputy Multiplatform Editing Chief Courtney Rukan:

We are pleased to announce that Frances Moody, a copy editor and designer at the Salt Lake Tribune, will join The Post as a multiplatform editor.

Before working at the Tribune, Frances was a copy editor at the Park Record in Park City, Utah. She also worked at the Jackson Hole News & Guide in Jackson, Wyo., as a reporter, writing on arts and features and later covering schools.

Frances was born and raised in Utah and graduated from the University of Utah with degrees in journalism and international studies. She served as arts editor for the university’s Daily Utah Chronicle.

Frances considers herself a Francophile, and grew up speaking French with her grandfather, who is a retired linguistics professor.

Please welcome her when she joins the multiplatform desk on Aug. 27.
