Americans are not alone in their love of dining out. In fact, Asians are just as enthusiastic as North Americans about eating outside the home, according to a Nielsen survey. Where diners choose to eat differs by continent, however. Fast food and casual dining are popular everywhere, especially in North America, while Asians also like formal dining establishments, street food and self-serve cafeterias, and Europeans cling to the cafe.
