Key players: Freddie Gray police trials
The first of six Baltimore Police officers charged in the arrest and death of Freddie Gray is set to go on trial Nov. 30. Gray, 25, suffered a severe spinal injury in the back of a police van and died about a week after his April arrest.
Prosecutors allege the officers did not properly restrain Gray in the van and then, failed to get him medical attention. The trials of the officers, whose charges range from second-degree murder and manslaughter to assault and reckless endangerment, are set to run through March. They have all pleaded not guilty.
Here is information on the six officers charged in the case, the Baltimore City judge who will be presiding over the trials and attorneys for the state and defense.See the latest on the Freddie Gray police trials
