American Security Bank is opening three new branches and has promoted three women to manage the new offices.
Elsa Forlong will manage the 1776 G. St. NW branch, which will open next Monday. She has been with the bank since 1964 and served most recently as assistant manager of its World Bank office branch. Yulonda Queen is the new manager of the Washington Hospital Center branch. She joined American Security in 1969 and was assistant manager of the 8th and H St. NE branch before her promotion. Mary Armstrong, formerly a customer service representative, will manage the new branch at 1st and D streets SE.
