Scottland Yards Inc., an advertising and public relation firm, announced two new additions to their staff. Robin Beite has joined the firm as a graphic designer and Beth Saeli is a new account executive.

James T. Norvell has been appointed sales manager at the Hyattsville branch of Pitman Co., a New Jersey-based advertising and public relations firm.Norvell will be responsible for all sales and marketing activities for Maryland, Northern Virginia and Washington.

Steve Weitz has been promoted to ro media buyer for Abramson/Himelfarb Inc. Linda Hannasch has joined the firm as media buyer.

The Advertising Club of Metropolitan Washington has elected its slate of officers for 1980/81. New officers are: Web Chamberlin of Chesapeake & Potomac Telephone Co., president; Lou Limber of the Washinton Post, first vice president; Jeb Brown of Earle Palmer Brown, second vice president; Jack Horner of Dyatech Labs, secretary; and Neal Edward of Ehrlich Manes & Associates Inc., trasurer. Elected to the board of directors were: Joan Seen of J. Walter Hompson; John Long of WJLA-TV; Carla Koeffler of The Washington Post; Lois Golden of Abramson/Himelfarb; Henry Canby of Pasley Romorini and Canby Advertising; Tony Rose of WKYS radio; and Sandi Barclay Tierney of the National Association of Broadcasters. In the three-way race for first vice president, Ted Barnett of Home Federal Savings and Loan placed third and will serve a one-year term on the board of directors.
