Brian Redman has been named director of Professional Services Inc., a Washington sports maketing firm.

Sheila Trent, formerly communications consultant with C&P Telephone Co., has joined the staff of Wallach Associates Inc., a Rockville-based executive recruitment firm. Most recently, she was vice president of Cay Associates.

Howard R. Pedolsky is president and Eugene F. Kadar is vice president of Orbital Systems Ltd., a new consulting firm providing analytical engineering services to users of the Space Transportation Systems. Both men are former employees of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, both with 20 years experience in space projects.

Richard L. Miller has been named vice president for fiscal affairs at Mary Washington College. Currently budget director of Prince George's Community College, Miller was previously budget analyst at the University of Maryland and the National Institutes of Health.

Charles J. Fey of Washington has been appointed dean of student affairs at Keene State College in New Hampshire.

F. Norbert Kraich has joined Bill Rolle & Associates, a Washington public relations firm, as vice president for public affairs.

David A. Fuccillo has been appointed director of research and development for M.A. Bioproducts, a Walkersville, Md., tissue culture laboratory. He was previously manager of biological laboratory products for Litton Bionetics in Kensington.

Louis L. Goldstien, comptroller of the State of Maryland, has been elected chairman of the Board of Visitors and Governors at Washington College. He succeeds Robert H. Roy, dean emeritus of engineering science at The Johns Hopkins University, who remains on the board after four years as chairman.
