Larry Rissanen has been appointed eastern regional sales representative for LogEscan. LogEscan markets a laser platemaking system designed primarily for the newspaper industry.

Ray Brown has been named vice president for finance and operations of Congressional Information Service Inc., a producer of printed indices, computerized tape bases and microfilm collections. Brown was previously a visiting professor of accountancy at the University of Maryland.

Richard D. Godown has joined Burson-Marsteller as vice president and general manager of its Washington office. He was previously associate executive director in the Washington office of The Business Roundtable.

C. Thomas Koenig has been appointed general manager of sales for AT&T's Long Lines department, the Bell System unit which handles interstate and international telecommunications. Working from new corporate offices in Oakton, Koenig will be responsible for AT&T Long Lines customers in the steel, aluminum, rubber, glass, forestry and paper products industries.

Parkway Productions Inc., a Bethesda-based radio fine arts program syndicator, has named Candace Johnson director of marketing and Edward Henkel chief engineer. Johnson was previously with radio station WGMS and Henkel has served as general manager of radio station WGTS-FM for the past five years.

Jerome N. Jefferson has been named associate editor of Constructor magazine.

Charles R. Pucie Jr. has been named manager of the Washington regional office of Doremus & Co. He came to the D.C. office in 1973 after supervising corporate policy relations programs at the firm's New York City headquarters. He was named assistant manager of the Washington office in 1978.
