Bond, senior vice president in charge of underwriting, with succeed Lewin. Lewin started his career with Geico in 1947 as a claims adjuster and has served as an officer with Government Employees Corp., Government Employees Life Insurance Co., Government Employees Financial Corp., and Geico. He was elected president of Criterion in 1974.
