Recent promotions at Woodward & Lothrop include naming four local executives as corporate officers of the company. Bruce S. Drill was store manager at Chevy Chase before assuming the position of vice president of the Washington store and central services. He replaced Donald R. Godfrey, who is now vice president and general merchandise manager for shoes, mens and boys and cosmetics. Adrian Rice has been named vice president and general merchandise manager for accessories, intimate apparel and childrens. Lewis C. Shealy, a divisional vice president for security and shortage control, has assumed the additional duties of overseeing shortage controller.

M.S. Ginn Co., the area's largest office products and furniture distributor, has announced several staff appointments. Jim Finnerty is assistant vice president for contract sales, and Bill Meyer holds the same title for commercial sales. Robert Templeman Jr. is director of information services, and Ed Terech has become assistant vice president and sales manager of the government sales department. Robert Mamula is the general manager of Ginn's Baltimore division, and Doris Johnson has been named manager of administrative services for the commercial sales division.

Toshiba America Inc. has named J. Paul Michie as vice president in charge of consumer products. He will head marketing, sales and administration of Toshiba's consumer products in the United States.

Alcolac Inc. of Baltimore, a specialty chemical company, has named H. Dean Warlick technical sales representative in charge of sales in the southeastern United States. Other Alcolac promotions include Larry Knight as technical sales representative in charge of western sales and Paul Posten as manufacturers representative for Florida.

James Sager has been appointed branch manager of the D.C. Kimmel Truck Tire Division. He previously worked in the area for Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co.

Meadow Farms Inc., a nursery based in Sterling, Va., has appointed Ted Zurawski vice president of all retail operations and John Seiber as vice president of all landscape operations.
