Lyn Nofziger, assistant to the president for political affairs, will speak on "Presidential Politics" at this week's meeting of the National Capital Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America. Nofziger became press secretary to President Reagan in 1966 when he was governor of California. Prior to that time, Nofziger was a reporter, editor and Washington correspondent for Copley Newspapers.

The society will hear Nofziger speak at noon at the Army-Navy Club, 1627 I St. NW. The meeting is open to the public but reservations are required. Call 466-6706.

Also on Thursday, the society will hold a seminar on "International Public Relations," 8 to 9:30 a.m., at the National Grange, 1616 H St. NW. John Meek, executive vice president of Daniel J. Edelman Inc., will speak on the public relations aspects of the Concorde. Jon Vondracek, director of communications for the Georgetown University Center for Strategic and International Studies, will discuss arrangements for a NATO conference in Brussels. Carl Levin, vice president and senior consultant for Burson-Marstellar, will speak on the recent visit of King Juan Carlos of Spain.
