Carlton D. Jones has been elected president of The Housing Center, Inc. Jones was formerly vice president of Fairfax Inc. He also serves as president and chairman of the board of the D.C. Chamber of Commerce and is a member of the Community Associations Institute, the Metropolitan Washington Planning and Housing Association and the Southeast Community Hospital Offices Services Corp. In addition, Rufus S. Houston was elected vice president of the residential brokerage division of The Housing Center Inc. and Jacqueline Jones was appointed regional trainer.
James R. Ingham Jr., president of Ingham & Associates Inc., has been elected one of 13 regional vice presidents of the National Association of Realtors. Ingham served for several years as chairman of the multiple listings committee of the Washington Board of Realtors. He was elected vice president and president of that board before being named its Realtor of the Year in 1979.
Michael A. App has been appointed director of property management for Coakley & Williams Inc. He will be responsible for the operation, maintenance and profitability of 1.5 million square feet of office and commercial space and for the supervision of all property management personnel. App became a property manager for Coakley & Williams Inc. in 1979.
Faye D. Cobb was elected a director of the National Association of Realtors at the group's 74th annual convention in Miami. Cobb is currently president of the Montgomery County Board of Realtors and president of the board of directors of the Maryland Trust Fund for Independent Living for Disabled Persons Inc. She is also secretary of the Washington Area Council of Realtors, a member of the Steering Committee of the Business/Community Team Against Drug and Alcohol Abuse and of the Maryland Real Estate Law Review Committee.
