J. Matthew Neitzey has been nominated to serve a two-year term as president of the Maryland Travel Council, a private organization representing hotels, restaurants and travel professionals. Neitzey has served as executive director of the Prince George's Travel Promotion Council since January, 1980.

Thomas L. Foley has been named business counselor of the year by General Business Services Inc., a national small-business counseling firm.

John F. Wing has been named managing officer of the Booz-Allen & Hamilton Inc. transportation consulting division. Wing has worked in the division's Bethesda office since 1976. He has also held the positions of research director, vice president and senior vice president for the applied research division of the firm.

Denise L. Sheehan has joined the staff of Poretz & Jaffe Inc., a local public relations firm. Sheehan was formerly with Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co. and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
