Stan Felder has been named editor of the Prince George's Journal. Felder was most recently managing editor of The Times, a paper which covers the region of Indiana and Illinois south of Chicago. He formerly was senior deputy metro editor of The Washington Star.
Felder succeeds Ray Burdick, who will begin writing his weekly column three times a week for all five Journal newspapers.

Christopher H. Sterling has been appointed director of the George Washington University Center for Telecommunications Studies. Sterling has been a professor of communications at Temple University for 12 years. Since 1980, he has been on leave from Temple while serving as a special assistant to FCC Commissioner Anne P. Jones.
Michael A. Houle, formerly director of advertising and field operations for Duron Inc., has become president and general manager of the Audy Group Inc., a Silver Spring firm specializing in marketing, media production and public relations.
