The Fairfax County Economic Development Authority said it expects to tally a total of about 60 businesses that have moved or expanded into the county during 1982. The development office announced that the following groups have relocated in Fairfax County in the past several months:
* The American Federation of Information Processing Societies (AFIPS) is building a 25,000-square-foot association headquarters and operations center on Sunrise Valley Drive in Reston. The group said it plans to move about 40 people into the new facility in August 1983. The two-story building, which is valued at about $2.5 million, will occupy three acres in the Branches Office Park. The project is being developed by Lee Sammis Reston Associates, an affiliate of the real estate development and management firm Lee Sammis Co. of Irvine, Calif.
* Sutron Corp., an engineering and technical services firm, is building an 8,000-square-foot headquarters and operations center in the Arrowhead International Business Park. Arrowhead is on the south side of Dulles Airport expressway, about two miles from the airport terminal. Occupancy of 26 employes is expected in the summer of 1983.
* American Electronic Laboratories Inc. is expanding into the Washington market from its base in Lansdale, Pa. The microwave instrument testing, evaluation, calibration and repair service has purchased a 9,600-square-foot building on Telstar Court in Merrifield. The building is valued at about $700,000.
* Anderson & Cramer Inc., a mechanical contractor, is constructing a 30,000-square-foot office, shop and warehouse complex on Sunset Hills Road in Reston. With the additional space and expanded operations, the firm plans to add 20 new employes to their present staff of 40 people.
