The Sheraton Grand Hotel recently announced four new appointments. Rupprecht Queitsch has joined the staff as executive assistant manager responsible for hiring, budget control and meeting room budgets. Queitsch had been a sales manager, front office manager, beverage controller and room division controller for Sheraton and other hotels. Richard S. Hathaway has been appointed director of food and beverage. Hathaway was formerly assistant director of food and beverage at the Parker Meridien Hotel in New York. Carla Sabloff has been named catering sales manager for the hotel. Sabloff had been assistant lounge manager at the Four Seasons Hotel in Washington. Roland Kapl has been appointed senior sales manager. Kapl was formerly director of sales at the Sana's Sheraton in North Yemen.

Leroy D. Fairbrother has been appointed general manager of the Crown Plaza Hotel in Rockville. He had been general manager of the Biltmore Hotel in New York City.

Washington's Hotel Bristol recently named Ken Cohen sales manager for the hotel. Cohen had been in charge of military/government and association sales for World Airways.

Jeffrey P. Caffee has been appointed personnel director for the Sheraton Carlton Hotel. Caffee, who will supervise all employe hiring, training and labor relations, previously was personnel director for the Sheraton Denver Hotel.
