Directors of Reynolds Metals Co. in Richmond have elected Donald T. Cowes corporate secretary. He succeeds Richard I. Dawes, who is retiring after 38 years with the company. Cowes will continue to serve as a senior attorney in Reynolds' law department.
McCormick & Co. Inc., the Hunt Valley spice maker, has appointed Randall D. MacCuaig vice president for development of the firm's Baltimore properties, and Thomas W. Peterson vice president for marketing and development. MacCuaig joined the company's development subsidiary, McCormick Properties Inc., as manager of development and operations for the Washington area, while Peterson comes to McCormick from Richardson-Vicks Inc. in Wilton, Conn., where he was a marketing director. In addition, John K. Stout, previously a plant accountant, has been named manufacturing service manager for the firm's grocery products division.
Miscellaneous Metals Inc. in Frederick has appointed Renato E. Ventura vice president in charge of credit approval, billing and collections. He was also recently elected president of the D. C. Metropolitan Subcontractors Association.
Recosol Inc., a national foundation contractor in Arlington, has named Charles P. Adkins executive vice president and chief operating officer. He was formerly a district manager with the Franki Foundation Co. of Boston.
