First American Bank of Virginia has appointed Catherine Mohr and Jeremiah Manning to senior vice presidents of the McLean-based bank holding company. Mohr is the director of personnel, while Manning is treasurer and head of the finance department.
Perpetual American Bank in Alexandria has promoted Joseph W. Barr, currently director of investment portfolio management, and Jay F. Morgan, presently director of data processing, to senior vice presidents, and Bernard J. Schumacher, currently director of financial analysis in the portfolio management area, to vice president.
D.C. National Bank recently announced promotions in its retail banking division: Violet H. West to senior vice president, Colleen M. Tuomey to assistant vice president and Juanita Douglas to assistant cashier. In its commercial banking division: Marybeth Bernhard to senior vice president, and Thomas G. Durrer to vice president. And, finally, in operations: Gwendolyn A. Elam to assistant vice president.
Ruesch International Monetary Services Inc. in Washington has appointed Michael Man finance director. Man was previously assistant director of finance for Deak-Perera in Washington and worked with Charles & Co. in Hong Kong.
Washington Federal Savings and Loan Association has elected William A. Craig senior vice president for retail banking. Craig, a graduate of Westminster College, was formerly vice president for operations.
