Hyatt Hotels has appointed Howard J. Hinton, formerly with the University of Maryland and MCI Communications Corp., as pre-opening sales manager of its Hyatt Regency Bethesda. The new hotel is scheduled to open in the fall at the Bethesda Metro Center.
Ritz Carlton Hotel has appointed Deborah Libster director of marketing and Vince Becht director of catering. Libster was previously president of Key Executive Search Inc.; Becht was a senior account executive with Ridgewells, a Washington catering company.
John J. Adinolfi, formerly catering director at the Watergate Hotel, has been named catering director at the new Radisson Mark Plaza Hotel. The hotel is scheduled to open this spring at the junction of Interstate 395 and Seminary Road in Alexandria.
The Watergate has appointed Peter Michael Koehler, formerly executive assistant manager of the L'Ermitage Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif., as vice president of the Restaurant Corp. of America. A subsidiary of the Watergate Cos., Restaurant Corp. operates all restaurants in the Watergate complex.
Luan Hill, formerly with Sheraton Hotels in Charleston, N.C., Cleveland and Rochester, N.Y., has been appointed controller at the Sheraton Carlton Hotel at 16th and K streets NW.
Cini-Grissom Associates, a food service and laundry consulting firm, has named Carl W. Vail a principal and regional vice president of its Potomac office. Vail, previously with ARA Services Inc. and Marriott Corp., has been with the firm for nine years.
Solange Wolff, formerly marketing director for the Sheraton Crystal City Hotel, has been assigned sales and marketing director for the Sheraton Tysons Corner Hotel, scheduled to open in March 1986.
