Construction will begin next month on a four-building office park in the City of Fairfax, according to the architectual firm of Clark Tribble Harris & Li.

Located on Eaton Place, a new connector street between Route 123 and Route 50, the $55 million, 460,000-square-feet Commonwealth Corporate Center is being developed by the Linpro Co. and designed by Clark Tribble.

The Commonwealth Corporate Center's symmetrical buildings are distinguished by alternating bands of red brick and reflective glass. In addition, the office park will feature a central court and clock tower.

The first two buildings will be finished in the summer of 1986, and the second two buildings are scheduled for completion in 1987.

Other recent developments in commercial realty in the Washington metropolitan area:

*The American Chiropractic Association will break ground June 11 for its new national headquarters building, to be located on North 17th Street in Arlington. The two-story, red brick building will contain about 20,000 square feet of office space on a half-acre site. The building is scheduled for occupancy by the summer of 1986.

*Cushman & Wakefield has announced that Westerra, a San Diego-based development firm, has purchased 7.75 acres of land for $4.37 million on Springhill Road in Tysons Corner.

*World Wildlife Inc. has leased 21,973 square feet at 1255 23rd St. NW.

*Bechtel Power Corp. has renewed approximately 15,965 square feet of office space at 3 Choke Cherry Rd. in Rockville.

*The Synthetic Organic Chemical Manufacturer Association has signed a lease for 18,800 square feet at 1330 Connecticut Ave. NW.

*The law firm of Paley, Rothman & Cooper has leased 12,500 square feet at One Bethesda Center, located at 4800 Hampden La.

*AT&T Communications has signed a lease for 12,300 square feet at 3953 Pender Dr., in Fairfax Executive Park.

*Metaphor Computer Systems, a computer manufacturing and sales firm, has leased 3,800 square feet at Tysons Executive Plaza in Tysons Corner.
