International Business Machines Corp. has signed a three-year lease for office space at Tysons Executive Plaza, which it will use for its regional engineering headquarters, the real estate firm of Spaulding & Slye has announced.

IBM has leased 28,474 square feet in the building at 2000 Corporate Ridge, the first of two, 10-story buildings totaling 500,000 square feet.

The project, located at the intersection of the Beltway and Route 7, is being developed, constructed, leased and managed by Spaulding & Slye.

Barnes, Morris and Pardoe Inc. has announced the following leasing transactions: Pennie and Edmonds, a law firm, has signed a three-year lease for 5,000 square feet at 1730 Pennsylvania Ave. NW for $500,000; Pea, Cross and Auchincloss, a law firm, has signed a five-year lease for 5,100 square feet at One Thomas Circle NW for $620,000; and Kermit, Roosevelt and Associates, a law and consulting firm, has leased 1,250 square feet at 1220 L St. NW for $235,000.
