The 7830 Old Georgetown Rd. Office Building in Bethesda is now 40 percent leased, according to the Fred Erza Co., which is handling rentals.
The $10 million building, completed in the fall by general contractor Thomas P. Harkins Inc., is located in a rapidly developing area of Bethesda, and offers 55,000 square feet of office space and 39,230 square feet of parking space below grade.
Other recent developments in commercial realty in the Washington metropolitan area:
*Prudential Life Insurance Co. of America sold the Park Place Office Building at 7926 Jones Branch Dr. in McLean to Evans Co. of McLean.
*IRT Corp. signed a lease for 19,000 square feet in the Courthouse Centre at 1953 Gallows Rd. in Vienna. Courthouse Centre is owned by Prudential Co. of America.
Honeywell Inc. signed a $2.4 million lease in Linpro Park II at 1861 Wiehle Ave. in Reston.
*Par Technology Corp., a government contractor, leased 13,000 square feet in the Reston Corporate Center at 12020 Sunset Hills Rd. The multiyear lease has an aggregate value in excess of $1 million.
*Kirkpatrick & Lockhart, a law firm, leased 78,000 square feet of space at 1800 M St. NW to accommodate the firm's expanding practice. The multiyear lease has an aggregate value of $20 million.
