NUS Corp. named James W. Vaughan vice president and general manager. Vaughan was formerly acting assistant secretary for nuclear energy at the Energy Department.

Airpac Systems of Virginia Inc., an Alexandria-based manufacturers representative firm, promoted Arthur R. Behnke to president, Joann Ovack to vice president, and Michael Haidon to vice president of marketing.
