Bechtel B&W Idaho of McLean won a $3 billion contract from the Energy Department for the operation and management of the Idaho National Engineering and Environmental Laboratory.

Under the five-year contract, the company will oversee the cleanup of the former weapons production lab and also will help the lab with programs involving environmental cleanup and energy research.

Bechtel B&W Idaho is made up of Bechtel National Inc., BWX Technologies Inc. and the Inland Northwest Research Alliance, an alliance of seven Western universities.

Raytheon Co. of Falls Church won a $42.5 million contract from the Army for research and development services.

Versar Inc. of Springfield won a $10 million contract from the General Services Administration for special studies.

Delex Systems Inc. of Vienna won a $6.9 million contract from the Navy for special studies.

Anchor Mental Health Association Inc. of Washington won a $3.3 million contract from the Department of Health and Human Services for social services.

Systems Engineering Group Inc. of Columbia won a $2.6 million contract from the Navy for threat-related engineering support.

Potomac Residence Club Inc. of Washington won a $2 million contract from the Department of Health and Human Services for social services.

EER Systems Inc. of Seabrook won a $1.4 million contract from the Treasury Department for data-processing and telecommunications services.

Parasense Inc. of Richmond won a $1.4 million contract from the Navy for refrigeration-leak equipment.

Battelle Memorial Institute of Baltimore won a $669,624 contract from the National Cancer Institute for research and development services.

Corporation Presentation Services Inc. of Alexandria won a $444,011 contract from the Navy for research and development services.

The National Academy of Sciences of Washington won a $350,000 contract from the Navy for research and development services.

Gray Graphics Corp. of Capitol Heights won a $240,045 contract from the Government Printing Office for photographic, mapping, printing and publication services.

Advanced Data Systems Inc. of Virginia Beach won a $142,722 contract from the Defense Distribution Center for repairs.

J&K Contracting Inc. of Bowie won a $90,630 contract from the Navy for property maintenance and repair services.

Hewlett-Packard Co. of Rockville won a $76,000 contract from the Defense Supply Center for electron tubes.

Chesapeake Associates Enterprises Inc. of Forest Hill won a $57,274 contract from the Defense Supply Center for electrical components.
