Q What does your company do?

A We provide technology services and solutions for the financial industry. We work mainly with secondary mortgages and equity solutions.

What skills or traits do you want in an employee?

People with mortgage experience, especially in secondary mortgages.

What would employees of your company say were the best reasons for working there?

We're flexible; we're not so much hung up on structure but accomplishing the demands of business.

Who owns your company?

We are owned by Advanced Technology Systems, an 11,000-person privately held IT company that was founded in 1978.

What are the demographics of your company?

We're 40 percent female and 40 percent minority with no women or minorities on our three-person executive team. Our average age is 38 and the average length of time an employee stays with the company is three years.What positions do you have available and what level of expertise do you want?

We are looking for 12 mid-career (four to six years' experience) and senior (six-plus years') technology developers with experience in Java/J2EE, C, C++, Sybase and/or Oracle. Typical candidates need experience in the financial services sector, especially mortgage and fixed-income trading.
