Benefits, compensation and perks: The company pays 90 percent of employee (60 percent for dependents and spouse) medical and dental benefits, effective the first of the month after date of hire. Optical benefits are paid at 50 percent, effective the first of the month following date of hire. Maternity leave is covered under short-term disability: six weeks for a regular delivery, eight for a Caesarean. There is no paternity leave. There are eight paid holidays, 15 vacation days, six sick days and two personal days. Employees may contribute to a 401(k), but there is no company match.
