Benefits, compensation and perks: Company pays 65 percent of employee medical and optical benefits and 71 percent of dental benefits. Maternity leave is paid at 70 percent for six weeks under the short-term disability plan, and paternity leave is unpaid but provided for under the Family Medical Leave Act. There are 10 paid holidays. Employees receive 140 hours of personal leave, including sick and vacation leave, each year for the first two years; and an additional 8 hours each additional year up to a maximum of 180 hours of personal leave at the seventh year of employment. Employees can contribute up to the IRS maximum to a 401(k) plan, and the company matches 50 cents for every dollar contribution up to 4 percent of salary at the end of each calendar year.
