QWhat does

your company do?

AWe're a professional services and consulting company that does custom software development and enterprise testing for business processes and software systems. We build and integrate technologies to improve a company's productivity and performance. We're a project-based consulting company, and we specialize in working one-on-one with both government and commercial customers.

What do you think your employees would say were the best reasons for working at your company?

They enjoy their coworkers and the flexibility and lifestyle the company offers them. Our employees consider us a very family-friendly company. We try to foster a culture of when you work, you work hard, and we also like people to have time off to be with their families. In terms of our work hours, our culture is more relaxed than most consulting companies.

Who owns your company?

I own 100 percent. The company is privately held.

What sense of stability can your company offer job candidates?

We've been in business for six years. We survived the dot-com crash and we had our highest profit and highest sales last year. Our financial and work records stand for themselves. We're able to quantify our effect on a customer's business. We can talk about return on investment in dollars and cents, how much money we're saving a client. When we bring staff on board, we teach them that methodology so we can keep adding value for our clients.

What are the demographics of your company?

In our 24-person company, there are 14 men, 10 women and 11 minorities. Within the four-person management team, there are three men, one woman and no minorities.

What positions do you have available and what level of expertise do you want?

We're looking for four program managers with over 10 years of experience managing complex technology integration projects. We also need six senior business analysts who must have a proven track record of designing, building and testing business processes and systems. Finally, we're looking for eight to 10 senior database and senior software engineers who are not only technical experts with Java, Oracle and DB2 technologies, but who also have the business acumen to understand how technology can best be utilized to deliver the greatest return for our customers.
